Northern Woods and Waters

For over 150 years the forests and lakes of northern Wisconsin have attracted summer visitors escaping the heat of regions further south. Beckoned by uninterrupted miles of state forest land, hundreds of pristine lakes, and friendly small towns, visitors flock to the region every summer for both relaxation and refreshing outdoor activities. Join us to see what the attraction of this region is all about. We’ll cycle on paved, low traffic roads through cool, shaded canopies, past peaceful inland lakes. We’ll stay in hotels with an “up north” atmosphere and a lakefront resort where we can swim or take a kayak out for a paddle. We may even be kidnapped by pirates for a tour of the local lakes on their pirate ship!
