Over 8 days discover the Basque country on two wheels, its culture, its landscape but more especially its wonderful cuisine known worldwide with local chefs and products.
Bike Basque allows you every night to dine in michelin starred restaurants and also some of the best restaurants in the world.
During this guided bike trip, you will stay in the best hotels of the region.
On the first night, guests will stay at the Paradoes Hondarribia, a 4 star hotel for the first night with dinner at the Michelin 2 star restaurant Mugaritz.
Day 2 is a 55k ride to Getaria along the coast with two climbs. Tonight’s hotel is the 4 star Hotel Iturregi with dinner at Elkano.
Day 3 continues along the coast for an 80k ride to Hotel Castillo de Arteaga, a beautiful 4 star hotel with dinner in the hotel.
Day 4 again rides along the coast to Durango and the 4 star Hotel Durango with dinner at the Michelin 3 star restaurant Azurmendi.
On day 5, guests ride 45k inland into basque country to Onati and the 3 star hotel Torre Zumultzegi with dinner at the Michelin 2 star restaurant Etxebarri.
Day 6 is a hilly day of 60k to Bideia and hotel Iriarte Jauregia, a 4 star hotel with dinner in the hotel.
On day 7, the 65k ride goes through valleys and passes to San Sebastian and the 4 star hotel Villa Soro with dinner at the Micehin 3 star restaurant Arzak.
Day 8 is the end of this luxury tour to either Biarritz or San Sebastian airports. Click on either cities to learn more about them in case you want to enjoy the area after your tour.
