Fondo Cedar Valley

Fondo Cedar Valley is a metric century (62 mile) party ride that begins in the Cedar Falls Downtown District in Cedar Falls, Iowa. This is a supported ride that travels through different towns with distinct party stops before ending back in the Cedar Falls Downtown District. This year’s route will travel through Janesville, Finchford, New Hartford, Stout, and Dike before returning to Cedar Falls. Joining this year’s ride is the Iowa Beer Bus! The Iowa Beer Bus will be serving up beverages and entertainment at two of the stops along the 2019 Fondo route.  

 

The event is capped off with the Fondo festival, a full-scale festival featuring live music, beer, food vendors, drinks, and fun for all in Overman Park in the Downtown District. The headlining band for the 2019 Fondo festival is Iowa’s own The Nadas! The Nadas are sure to draw a crowd and have you signing and dancing into the night.

 

There is also an opportunity to participate in Iowa’s only Double Metric Century! For those interested, a self-supported Double Metric Century option will take off 2 hours prior to the start of Fondo Cedar Valley. Double Metric Century riders will complete the same Fondo course loop two times. Double Metric Century riders will be required to check-in at the halfway point by 1pm. Double Metric Century finishers will receive an additional commemorative finisher’s item for their impressive ride!

 

Each registration for Fondo Cedar Valley includes a Fondo t-shirt, a $10 food voucher to be used in the Cedar Falls Downtown District before or after the ride, a drink ticket for beer, pop, or water to be redeemed at the festival, and other fun giveaways from our sponsors! All finishers will receive a 2019 Fondo Finisher patch as well!
