600 Mile Solo Ride Around Half of Lake Michigan

October 10, 2018

Caroline Richardson did a lot of planning for this 600 mile epic adventure but it wasn’t as crazy as some of her friends though it would be. Click here to read here about her trip and why she did.

Our friend Jim Plaunt helped her plan the logistics including roads, mapping and lodging. There are a lot of details to consider. For example, did you know there are only 2 times during the year that you can ride your bike across the Mackinac Bridge? Jim knows that as well as how to catch the ferry to cross the Straits of Mackinac.

Jim’s company Bike Tour Vacations offers tours throughout the midwest from Kentucky to Minnesota and he can help you with your custom trip including leading it.
