Last year we visited Garda Bike Hotel in the Lake District part of Nothern Italy. It is a part of the Bici Amore Mio partnership of hotels with locations throughout Italy including the Funivia Hotel in Bormio at the base of the Stelvio Pass. The town of Bormio is at 4,000 feet and you climb 5,000 feet in just 21k! It’s also just a 3 hour drive from Lake Garde and it is common for cyclists to ride around Lake Garda for several days, then have the hotel drive them to their sister hotel in Bormio to ride the Stelvio pass.
