A six night seven day hut-to-hut ride from Telluride Colorado to Moab Utah. Every day there is a ‘Standard Route’ option which is the easiest way to get between huts and is made up of gravel and dirt roads. Most days also have several ‘Single Track Alternate Routes’ for those looking for more technical terrain. These trails range from intermediate to advanced in nature.
The route travels though some of the West’s most scenic mountains and deserts. The ride finishes up on the Kokopelli trail into Moab. Exact mileage each day will depend on the trails and roads you decide to take, but riders should plan on 30+ miles a day. Although the mileage and elevation gains and losses are quite similar to the Durango to Moab route, the Telluride route is about 15% to 20% easier.
